Dr. Tara Steinke, ND
Co-Founder
Dr. Steinke believes we should aspire to feel strong, healthy and vibrant at any age. To deliver on an intention of lifelong health and wellness for her patients, she focuses on helping each patient address goals and challenges with a whole-person approach. Feeling our best also includes looking our best and health & happiness is beauty. Specializing in wellness optimization, endocrine/hormone imbalances, gut health, IV therapy and aesthetics, she views optimal health as the management of both the internal environment and the external stressors of life in a modern world.
Dr. Steinke completed her medical doctorate at Bastyr University with advanced training in IV therapy, cranial sacral therapy, bioidentical hormones, hydrotherapy, autoimmune treatment and PRP aesthetics. She went on to complete her residency in naturopathic primary care with additional specialization in IV nutrient therapy. Prior to entering medical school, Dr. Steinke received her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University and worked as a corporate engineer. She is listed as the primary inventor on two U.S. patents and has held positions in process development research, process engineering in manufacturing, operations, and program management, including ownership over several multi-million dollar energy-efficiency programs for the major California utility companies.
Her research and technical background allows Dr. Steinke to bring a detail-oriented and foundationally scientific perspective to her patient care. She believes in providing an integrative, personalized approach with each patient and loves contributing to a team care environment as a naturopathic doctor.
Dr. Ginger Sweetan, ND
Co-Founder
Dr. Sweetan has a passion for acute care, aesthetics, anti-aging, biofeedback, bioenergetics, dermatology, epigenetics, and regenerative medicine. She completed advanced training in IV therapy, biofeedback, bioidentical hormones, autoimmunity, Bach flowers, epigenetics, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and prp aesthetics.
Dr. Sweetan graduated Naturopathic Medical School from the renown Bastyr University’ then completed her residency in Integrative Urgent & Primary Care. She received an undergraduate degree in psychology with a biopsych emphasis from California State University San Marcos, graduating magna cum laude.
Dr. Sweetan’s healthcare experience spans nearly 3 decades beginning as a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman/EMT and then as a nurse.

A strong proponent of healthcare education and advocacy, Dr. Sweetan is actively engaged as a participant in lobbying efforts in Washington D.C. and locally in the state of California. She loves living near the ocean, writing poetry, teaching, doing genealogy, and creating novel models for organization.

Dr. Angel Barrientos, ND
Associate Doctor
Jose Angel Barrientos is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor that specializes in Primary care, Nutrition, Botanical medicine, Men’s health, and Urgent care. He became a lifeguard at the age of 17 and, after rescuing a teenager from drowning on his first week on the job, he knew that helping people was what he was born to do! He went on to respond to 9-1-1 calls as an emergency medical technician throughout Los Angeles.
After seeing that an overwhelming number of patient’s symptoms were only being suppressed, instead of the root cause of their illnesses being treated, he decided to become a healthcare practitioner that would genuinely help restore people’s health. Dr. Angel went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and graduated Cum Laude. He then earned his Naturopathic Medical Degree from Bastyr University California in 2021.
As a Naturopathic Medical Doctor, Dr. Angel devotes his knowledge and experience towards helping individuals become educated and empowered, so they can achieve a higher quality of health and life. In his free time, Dr. Angel enjoys walking his Siberian husky, playing the electric guitar, swimming, weight training, and practicing jiu jitsu with his wonderful 10 year old daughter.
