As part of our commitment to helping to attend to the needs of our patients during the pandemic, we offer several COVID-19 testing options, including the COVID 19 rapid antigen tests, PCR tests, T-cell marker tests, and COVID 19 antibody tests. 

As more organizations begin to require weekly testing, we anticipate an increased need for regular and more affordable testing options. In light of these developments, we have rolled out a new COVID-19 testing program to provide these services in a convenient and accessible format, available as weekly serial testing if needed.

  • Initial consultation and test: $135
  • After initial consult, asymptomatic testing is $45 per test
  • Initial consultation and test: $185
  • After initial consult, asymptomatic testing is $125 per test

  • Serial asymptomatic antibody testing is not recommended. 
  • Initial consultation and test: $240
  • Serial asymptomatic T-cell testing is not recommended.

Rapid Antigen Test
(nasal swab)

  • The COVID 19 rapid test

    (Antigen test) is a California Department of Public Health approved weekly testing method for health care workers.  
  • This test is recommended if your employer is requiring weekly serial testing. 
  • Used in out-patient settings to detect active cases of COVID-19.

PCR Test
(nasal swab)

  • The PCR test is typically required for travel and clearance for school/work attendance. 
  • This test is recommended if you are presently experiencing symptoms or have had a known exposure to COVID.
  • PCR is still considered the gold standard for COVID testing.

Antibody Test
(Finger Stick)

  • The Antibody test can show signs of both current and recent infection with COVID-19. 
  •  This test may be performed if you want to know if you may have been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus or have recovered from the COVID-19 infection.

T-Detect Test
(Blood Draw)

  • The T cell marker test is a measurement of the immune system’s response to an infectious agent. 
  • This test may be performed if you want to confirm a positive result from an antibody test, determine if you had a past infection, or you want to confirm if lingering symptoms are due to COVID. 
  • T cell tests are highly specific and robust as compared to antibody tests, which might not capture the entire immune response

Details of Each Test

  • Our antigen test is performed using the FDA EUA authorized Quidell QuickVue SARS Antigen test method using a nasal swab sample. 
  • Antigen tests detect molecules found on the surface of the virus. 
  • The test is highly accurate and can detect the presence of coronavirus in both symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals.
  • FDA emergency use authorization (EUA) approved test. 
  • Our PCR test is performed using the FDA EUA authorized Thermofisher PCR method using a nasal swab sample. 
  • PCR detects genetic material from the virus and is considered the gold standard for COVID-19 diagnostic testing. 
  • The test is highly accurate and detects the presence of coronavirus in both symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals.
  • FDA emergency use authorization (EUA) approved test. 
  • The IgG & IgM antibody test is performed in-office with a quick finger stick and results are available within about 30 minutes. 
  • This test detects the antibodies of SARS-CoV-2 IgM, which is detectable as early as 3-5 days after symptom onset, and IgG, which indicates past exposure (as recent as 14 days).
  • Not as accurate as the PCR test, but an antibody test is what has been traditionally used for detection of the level of immunity to a particular infectious agent.  
  • FDA emergency use authorization (EUA) approved test. 
  • The newest  COVID-19 marker available (hopeful technology for future disease detection).
  • The T-Detect COVID test is a highly sensitive and specific test that can detect the specific T cell signature in response to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
  • T cells are the first responders of the adaptive immune system and initiate the antibody response.
  • T cell responses can persist in the blood long after antibody responses wane.
  • FDA emergency use authorization (EUA) approved test.
